Good volumes of rainfall have been forecast across northern US states and Canada. With rain seen across Europe we have seen an ease in the market on the back of this.

US planting is progressing well with 61% of soya planted, well ahead of the 37% long-term average.

Spring wheat planting has reached 85% complete, again, well ahead of the 71% long-term average.

Reports indicate US export sales of 1.36MT of corn for delivery to China during the 2021/2022 marketing year.

We are likely to see a very volatile market throughout the summer and we cannot afford for there to be any hiccups along the way!

Hi Pro Soya prices for the winter have become more encouraging and could be worth a conversation in regard to winter cover.
